Found my Way - Day 7
Well I can't believe I'm on my 7th day. That is just a hoot! I started using Fitday.com again, to log in my food and count my fat grams, calories, and protein. It is helping me keep accountable and make everything I put in my mouth count.
I had fun on the Wii Fit this weekend, and my legs are killing me. But it feels good.
The weekend was good. Yesterday for family lunch we were having hot dogs, and I made a salad for myself with some fat free cheese and low fat turkey, some garbonzo beans, and some fat free dressing. My husband saw what I was eating and he decided to have the same.
It is getting easier as the days go by. I have to go back to the store today because everyone is eating the fruits and turkey that I got for myself. I think it is funny, they want my "special" food. Next they'll want my rice cakes! Well probably not. Tonight is chili. I have it in the crock pot now, can't wait.
I hope everyone else is doing well. Remember that today is a new day and yesterday is a memory. For me, I have to stay focused on today and keep active and make food not a priority of my day, but a necessity. I know I am making progress when I am not constantly thinking about what to eat, when I can eat, how long until I can eat again, etc....... When I get to the point of feeling shaky and realizing I haven't eaten in 4 hours and I need some protein, then I smile. The key is to have something ready to go so I dont' just shove the easies thing in my mouth. That is when ready to drink protein drinks, protein bars, or a Profect works for me.
Your upbeat attitude and honesty are a real inspiration to us all...thank you for sharing your recommittment to a healthier lifestyle. keep on post'n! ^_^
Nancy
